A clever way of telling the story with actors, statues, film shows to tell five of the stories of the Canterbury Tales. I had forgotten how rude they were! A great introduction to the story and to Chaucer himself.

My parents and I visited this attraction while on a short holiday in Canterbury. We visited at 10.40 on the 23rd October. The staff on the desk were very friendly, found our booking easily and then advised us to make the most of the sunshine....More

We took a tour around this attraction which we found really well explained, our guide was very knowledgeable and made the tour entertaining, the tour lasted about 50 minutes, and children are given the chance to dress in costume

Fun way to spend 40 minutes. The tales are amusing and quite well presented. You walk through scenes of waxworks and have either a real guide, an audio guide, or a voice-over for different areas. Tales are usually illustrated on a screen with still images....More

This is an interactive slice of history, you will walk through scenes set out to show you the five (family friendly) famous takes from the Canterbury Tales. They are a mix of morality tales and bawdy pub humor. A great introduction to the history behind...More

Never read the book but it didn't matter. The walk through the plot with a guide, props and an audio were enough. A bit pricy for the experience and probably suit teens and adults better than younger kids.

Staff helpful and knowledgeable right from the moment we walked in. Guides and actors/actresses really engaging. Stories well represented by little videos or displays. Our audio tour had some dirty jokes but we overheard that the children were given a slightly modified tour, which is...More

The attraction itself is very interesting, although it only lasts about 35-40 mins. All the kids enjoyed it. Beware of the gift shop, it is a total rip off £6 for a tiny chocolate frog!!!

The tour was good fun, traveling through the tales and leaving knowing more than when I had walked in, a good laugh if you have time I recommend as it was just fabulous
