What a wonderful place this is! We went for my friends hen party with 17 ladies (and a man!). Jon made the whole afternoon fun and entertaining. We did coil pots and a taster on the wheel each which was spot on for what we wanted. It's the above and beyond elements that make this place so special. Nothing was... More

We had a fabulous time and our children are asking to go back again. We've never used a potters wheel so the whole experience was a new one for all of us. Expert, friendly guidance was given throughout. It's not as easy as it looks but we all had pots to show for it. Thank you to all the staff... More

We visited as a family with a 4 year old and twin 18month old girls. It was a birthday treat for the 4 year old and she chose to make a bowl using the potters wheel. We were welcomed by Jon who explained the activity and offered drinks . Jack showed us the techniques and helped the birthday girl (a... More

Thank you to Sarah and Jack for a very warm welcome yesterday. My first time at potting and I had a thoroughly relaxing and enjoyable afternoon. Spent the weekend with my wife learning to make pottery. It was led by Jon, who we found to be welcoming, friendly and very knowledgeable about all things to do with clay. He is also a very good teacher, even to total novices such as ourselves. All of the first day was spent at the wheel, throwing pots - very... More

Thanks Pete and glad you and your wife enjoyed your weekend pottery experience. You both made some pretty respectable pots which are drying out nicely. 'tis true, the second day is a very different experience compared to the muddy mayhem of day 1 - much cleaner, and a whole new set of technique to get your teeth into. We'll be... More

Great service from the guys at Eastnor pottery. We took a spontaneous trip to the Malvern Hills and stumbled across Eastnor Pottery. We walked into a very welcoming and friendly atmosphere and were greeted with a cup of tea on arrival. We didn't book prior to arriving, but they managed to squeeze us in as they had one spare booking.... More

My partner and I booked a potters' wheel make and paint session last minute after seeing a flyer for the pottery in a local tea room. I had done one session on a wheel previously but my partner had no experience at all. Booking over the phone with John was very easy. The pottery itself is well sign -posted with... More

My children have been keen to "throw a pot" for quite awhile, so whilst holidaying in the Forest of Dean we happened upon a Eastnor Pottery leaflet-What a find! I called them up and spoke to a very pleasant lady, she booked us in for later on in the week at 11:30am. We arrived to a lovely friendly welcome from... More

I had been given a gift voucher for Mother's Day 2016 and went with daughters and sons girlfriend. The workshop was cosy and warm and we enjoyed tea and cofeeon arrival. Jack was very patient with us, as we were indecisive, of what we wanted to make. We had a great morning and came home with a great pot each.... More

missed the holiday workshop for children, decided to book myself and my 9yr old for our own workshop during the half term. Set times are available. When we arrived we were offered a drink, and had a look at the wide variety of options available to the budding potter. Handmodelled "pinch pots" of varying sizes, hand made coiled pots of... More
