A relatively small museum run by volunteers. You can see the love and care as you go around. If the kids get bored there is a play area and if an adult gets bored there is a cafe. A free car park but if you...More

Visited today as it was a heritage open day, so free admission. I've walked past this place many times but never seen it open, so was good to go in and have a look. I was surprised by the amount of engines and other displays...More

Hello, and thank for your supportive review. The Trustees would love to be able to open the Waterworks Museum more often, but as an independent museum we have limited resources and it would need a significant increase in the number of volunteers who work at...More

Visited this small museum today as all the engines were working. It was worth the visit but perhaps more for the menfolk interested in the technical details. The machines are well displayed and it was good to see so many in working order.

Despite our best endeavours, the Waterworks Museum struggles to reach a visitor audience which, without investigation, considers a visit only of interest to Engineers and steam buffs, or only of interest to people connected to Hereford. Reviews such as yours help greatly in changing these...More
