We visited on the warmest February day ever and The Weir was at its most peaceful, tranquil best. True the snowdrops were going over and the daffodils were not yet at their best but I defy anyone not to enjoy this quiet oasis of calm...More
As NT members we paid the £2.50 for the gnome trail. My daughter loved finding all the places the gnomes had 'just been' and the grown ups enjoyed the gorgeous views of the river wye and all the different plants and trees that had informative...More
My family and I visited The Weir Gardens today for their half-term 'Gnome Trail'. The Gardens themselves are lovely but there were NO GNOMES on the Gnome trail. My 2 year old niece loves gnomes, hence our trip here but we were confused and disappointed...More

30 mins if you wish to speed round, a couple of hours if the sun is out and you decide to sit on a deckchair and watch the Wye eddy past you. Its easy going but would say not ideal for wheelchair or someone who struggles with uneven ground. Absolutely brilliant if you are a child and love to clamber and climb.
