We haven't visited a museum quite like this. A lucky survivor from a terrace of Jacobean merchant houses, this has some interesting artefacts We received a pleasant welcome, the curator gave us a broad outline of the history and we were then free to wander....More

Wandering round Hereford we stumbled across this place and sheltered from the rain! Glad we did. Three storeys of museum, accessible displays and things for children, such as dressing up. Really cheap too!

Well worth the visit very interesting and for the kids, lucky to still have this building and not wiped out by the 1960's junk!

This is an old house, last one of its age in the vicinity, that has been refitted with period and reconstruction furniture to give you an idea of how it might have looked, plus a few downstairs exhibits on the history of Hereford.

I had to be content with looking at the outside of this magnificent Jacobean building as it closes at 4pm. Situated in the pedestrianised area, one can walk all round it and admire its beautiful carving. It is floodlit at night - highly photogenic.

I think it's about £2.50, certainly not a lot compared to other attractions and good value for money.
