Wandering round Hereford we stumbled across this place and sheltered from the rain! Glad we did. Three storeys of museum, accessible displays and things for children,such as dressing up. Really cheap too!
This is an old house, last one of its age in the vicinity, that has been refitted with period and reconstruction furniture to give you an idea of how it might have looked, plus a few downstairs exhibits on the history of Hereford.
I had to be content with looking at the outside of this magnificent Jacobean building as it closes at 4pm. Situated in the pedestrianised area, one can walk all round it and admire its beautiful carving. It is floodlit at night - highly photogenic.
