Nice, historic location on the famous Pilgrim's Way - though lacking any on-site information for the passing traveller. Another example of local budget cuts by HCC, towards encouraging tourism outside the City of Winchester boundaries.

If you like old churches its for you. Lots of history and nice area to walk in. Lots of pathways to use but no parking for cars

The setting for this church is the very pretty village of Ashley, a short drive from Stockbridge (also pretty- with trout streams, tea rooms and antique shops). The church itself is raised up from the roadway, and was surrounded by spring flowers when we visited....More
