Avington Park is a privately owned stately home in beautiful secluded grounds, open May to September, Sundays, Bank Holiday Mondays and Mondays in August from 2.30Pm - 5.30Pm - last tour at 5.00Pm. Tea bar serves home-made cakes and locally made ice-cream. We are open all year round for weddings,meetings,private parties, group visits and corporate events.

Brilliantly preserved house with many interesting artifacts and the tour guide was excellent. The grounds were immaculately kept and St. Mary's church was fantastic. Definitely worth a visit.

Visited yesterday and I was bowled over by the sense of peace and tranquility just lovely. The grounds are beautiful we had a good walk round and visited the church. I have never seen closed in pews like that before. The house itself is stunning...More

Advertised as opening at 2.30pm so arrived on the dot only to find the car park very full - had to improvise and by the time we walked across to the house the tour at least 10 minutes in! We tagged on - very professional...More
