Spent an amazing hour or so studying this great lady's paintings, provided by the Tate Gallery. The setting was excellent and the library's atmosphere was buzzing.

What an excellent learning and reading centre for children. Everything is arranged in easy to find sections. There are books, magazines, travel guides, etc for loan. See their website for full details.

Public library that has many facilities, cafe, toilets, baby changing facilities, ebooks, charging points, many events advertised.

Came for an antiquarian book sale, stayed for lovely tea in shop and browse around the library with it's great selection of book and exhibit of Winchester university projects.

We popped into the Discovery Centre to view the Gerald Scarfe exhibition. A huge number of his prints, pastels & costume designs were brilliantly displayed. Each piece was accompanied by explanatory text. There were several videos being shown of his art in ballet & film...More
