My boys aged 4 and 6 love to explore off the beaten track here. It's safe and good fun. We went fungi hunting last weekend and found loads for them to look at. m

Standard large park with a duck pond, nice enough to walk around but nothing special. There are a couple of paths that bicycles aren't supposed to go down but some still do. The only toilets are at the bottom of the park in the activity centre.

Nice place to rewind after work and good to get some exercise on the common. A very green space and worth a visit.

Lots of open space for games, wooded areas to explore, paved areas for running and cycling, duck ponds, reasonable playground, paddling pool, wildlife centre and cafe.

Peace and quiet in the middle of a city. Lovely trees and very nicely maintained. There are well laid paths which are good for mobility scooters and buggies. Park runs are held here most Saturdays.

A very relaxing area which feels like you're miles from the city! There are loads of different walks and ponds and seems to go on forever. There are swans and other birds to watch, plenty of blackberry bushes to forage and the lawns are lush and green. Always plenty of people passing through there running, cycling and walking dogs. Great walk in the middle of the city not threatening and pleasant most dogs were on a leash. Good well marked walks and several ponds with a diverse of fauna. Woodland and ponds some grassy areas. I felt safe walking alone.
