Fantastic visit and, more by luck than judgement, it was Armed Forces Day on the day we visited. Great displays, fantastic atmosphere and a wealth of history. Thoroughly enjoyed this.

It's been 3 years since my last visit and I wanted to spend tine exploring the site rather than running to the attractions. This is a wonderful, atmospheric venue - it would be very hard to visit and not find something to love, or in...More

We have a one year ticket here and just happened to pick this day for another visit. The dockyard was full of live music, military vehicles and an array of Armed Forces servicemen and women. The Royal Marine School of Music performed with their marching...More

Bought an annual ticket with the boy last year. This was day 4 which has been spread over ten months. It is so utterly fascinating. The Mary Rose exhibition is so imaginative, I don't think I have ever been to a better exhibition ever. Warrior...More

This place is brilliant. If you have never been before and are planning on going then buy a yearly all attraction ticket as it's valid for a whole year and it takes you 3 or 4 days to see and do everything. The explosion and...More

Hi, we are hoping to visit this weekend. Our son is mid-way through his PRMC - Royal Marines entrance - as the main Royal Marines Museum is now closed are there any specific sections within the dockyard which would be valuable for him to visit? Many thanks, Carol Parry

Hi Carol. You might be able to find some references to the Marines, but it is largely to do with sailer men and the battles they were in. Most is to do with the ships and the equipment they used. Still a great day out. Sorry... More
