We came here to see fort Nelson which was brilliant, there really isn’t anything at portsdown hill but great views to Portsmouth and the fort. Great place for a walk.

Great site to visit for all ages. The views are amazing and lots of space for children to run around and enjoy some fresh air. Also great to just view from your car, enjoy an ice cream or cuppa from the vans. Will visit again...More

Best views in Portsmouth. Can relax and watch world go by and see the hustle and bustle of Portsmouth harbour and can see right along coast and clear views of Isle of Wight. Good area for picnics, large grass area and seats good for children...More

We park here regularly just for the views across Portsmouth and Hayling Island to The Solent and Isle of Wight. Burgher and Ice cream vans offer a good choice of food.

On a few occasions I have found myself up on the hill looking down at the cars and lights flashing below. Great view, decent burger van and some epic sunshine rays!
