This lovely ex navel barracks has now been turned into a up-market, trendy shopping (days) and eating (nights) area. It has "The Pull" and is the destination for choice for thousands of people. The original shops have nearly all gone as once the area became a success the rents all went up resulting in Top Brand names moving in. For... More

Great for shopping for designers. Great for coffee shops and restaurants too. Can even get to the spinnaker tower from the quays. Great for watching ships of all sizes coming and going.

Visited Gunwharf Quays on a wet and cold day which affected how long we stayed. There are plenty of shops and all the usual eating outlets, many with good views across the harbour. It is definitely a place to visit in the summer!! The whole area needs to be covered in order to attract more visitors in the winter.

When Gunwharf first opened it was pretty good, manufacturer outlet shops mainly, some bargains to be had, there are still a few of these shops but being taken over by normal expensive retail. Plenty of restaurants, in fact dozens... familiar names and some independent which are very good, but bit pricey, you pay for surroundings I guess. Casino, good, Bowling,... More

Gun wharf Quays offers a large variety of shops and restaurants to suit all tastes. Many 'outlet' shops offering cheaper than high street prices too.

Everywhere clean. Toilets well looked after, but need some understanding of the technology. What happened to simplicity? Needs a wider range of shops, less clothes. Particularly good service from Crew Clothing Company, great service. The paved areas all need inspection as some parts becoming a tripping hazard

As someone who has lived in Gosport my whole life, I have made countless trips to Gunwharf, and it has always retained its status as one of the places to shop in Portsmouth- being near both the ferry and the train station, as well as having the Spinnaker Tower inside, and the Historic Dockyard close by, it's no surprise that... Some of the shops are very nice some are very not nice, all the shops are overpriced. Back in Zimbabwe i can get you 6 Ralph Lauren polo tops for 12 dollars, 100% real as well. Difficult to find a spot to bun zoot as it is often very crowded.

Been travelling to Portsmouth for eight years now and never ventured to Gun Wharf until now. Pretty glad I did too...... Great variety of shops to suit everyone, Adidas, Nike and Under Armour for sport, Ralf Lauren, Diesel, Tommy, Ted Baker etc etc etc. Seemed as if there were extra discounts for January sales so there were some real bargains...
