About
Even though it is a bit of hike to get to, this ancient burial mound is worth the effort, especially towards dusk when the site becomes magical in appearance.

It's a bit of a walk to get there but it's worth the effort! Awe inspiring to think of the effort it must have taken for iron age tribes to build this monument to their dead.

Wasn't expecting this very ancient (5000 years) site...was pretty cool to experience this burial site.

About six mile hike from our rented cottage in Winchcombe. Most enjoyable on a windy day at the top of the mound the views were wonderful.

I visited as part of of a circular walk from Cleve Hill. There are charming views on this tour. The longbarrow is quite stricking and atmospheric. You can then walk into Winchcombe. Or back to the Cleve Hill car parks. Great walk

We were staying nearby so went for a stroll - lovely views from the top of the hill. The tomb itself is not very special (to someone who is not well versed in English history!) the site would perhaps benefit from a couple more signs...More

I've decided to write this review in an attempt to raise my concern over the complete lack of security for your vehicle if you decide to park at the foot of the walk that leads from the road to the Belas Knap Longbarrow. A friend...More

The third day of our Cotswolds holiday . We wanted to make an early start and had earmarked a visit to Hailes Abbey - which didn't open until 10am. I had also wanted to visit this ancient monument and, it not having a ticket office...More
