This is probably my favourite beach in the Cape Town environs albeit that it is a bit of a trip to get there from the city centre and is the last resort before you are in the Cape of Good Hope National Park, on the...More

Scarborough is a hidden gem within the Cape Town Metropole. Close enough to the city, but far enough away to feel like you are away. Has a lovely beach with rocks for kids to play in either side, Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve adjacent,...More

What an absolutely lovely beach!! Came across it by chance and stayed a while. The amenities are a little sparse, but the beach itself more than makes up for it. Definitely one to visit!!

The beaches at Scarborough Beach are beautiful but you won't go for a swim as the water is freezing.

A nice beach a bit away from the Cape Tonian urban crowd. Good for having a walk in the fresh breeze and mist and touch base.

We visited around 7pm , just in time to see the sunset and see the surfers finishing up for the day. The waves are asesome sending up some great spray as the tide was coming in. And the sunset was gorgeous despite the clouds

Absolutely amazing. Great for sunsets and pet friendly. Clean beach and definitely worth visiting. Visited in December also and it was much different to our visit now; the beach was quiet and quite romantic. The vibe was more lively in February and filled with furry...More

Water didn't look exciting and was very cold, even in summer! A nice quiet long beach, obviously a good walking or dog exercise beach when the wind not blowing.

This is the place to go wind- and kitesurfing or just to watch it. The waves are impressive, but you must be realle tough if you want to go into the water without a wetsuit as the water is freezing. The sand is white and...More
