Plenty to see and do. Trees are in glorious autumn colours. Good footways and signed routes using the plan supplied. Good cafe/restaurant with a varied menu.

Spent an amazing afternoon walking all around the winding paths, crossing streams looking for the Trolls living under had bridges. Yes I was with 2 young children ! Lots to see, lovely picnic area, interesting shop and much needed coffe shop.

Although the Arboretum is on a hillside, there is a pathway suitable for a mobility scooter. This takes you across the arboretum, alongside the hedge and up to the church. Other parts of the arboretum may prove more... More

Hello. We welcome well behaved dogs in the arboretum and visitor centre (including the cafe). Dogs must be kept on a short lead at all times and we ask visitors to clean up after their dogs using any of the outdoor litter... More

Hi last entry is 4.45pm and we expect visitors to exit by 6pm. yes gates are closed and locked just after 6pm thank you.
