Durhams Farm Riding School is a family run business situated in a beautiful area of The Cotswolds. Our farm spans 60 acres of glorious countryside set between the popular market towns of Moreton in Marsh, Stow on the Wold and Chipping Norton. The riding school was founded in 1994 to bring together people of every background and all ages to have fun and learn new skills. Pat and her wonderful team are dedicated to providing you with the best possible service and a horse riding experience that is second to none. We have a professional approach to horse riding and ensure you are able to learn in a safe and friendly environment. Our horses and ponies benefit from living in the calm and relaxed atmosphere, which we create for them. Our conscientious team understands each one of our four legged friends. We really love and care for them, so they will really look after you. We are very proud of our grooms and instructors, who are experienced, qualified and friendly. The riding area is outstanding for all levels of ability, with large open spaces, bridleways and woodland trails to discover. Our facilities are excellent, including a large outdoor floodlit arena, great range of show jumps and cross country fences spanning three fields. A cosy log cabin overlooks the arena, where you can grab a tea or coffee and some light bites whilst you watch lessons in action. This amazing cabin has enabled us to expand our range of activities to include corporate days, Pony Club and just about any kind of function you would like to throw. For more information check out What we offer. Accommodation at the farm can be found in the form of our charming stable apartment. We are excited to be introducing two new Shepherds Huts to the farm in 2016 so we can offer you a more boutique camping experience. Car park and bathroom facilities available.

We were looking for a place for our girls (10 and 8) to go riding and were lucky to find Durham's. We called ahead and Pat was very helpful and could schedule a private lesson the very same day. Pro tip: call ahead and book! The farm is quite hard to find as the sat nav doesn't quite get you... More

I love the atmosphere at this stable yard, the staff are so friendly and relaxed! The horses and ponies are all loved and cared for. The countryside in this area is just beautiful and I have enjoyed riding out with my friends here many times before. Couldn't recommend a better riding school to visit!

Durhams is fabulous - always a great atmosphere - lovely ponies and horses and excellent instruction - I've been coming here for years with different horses and different requirements and always feel welcome and get great advice! Great for adults wanting to get back in the saddle too.

My daughters and I started riding here after buying a groupon voucher. I was returning after a 8 year break and was lacking confidence and my 4 years old was just starting. Within a few weeks I was back into the swing of riding, my eldest daughter was catering with confidence and my youngest was doing the rising trot. One... More

We had been recommended Durhams by a friend and we travel from Tewkesbury to visit here. Well worth the journey. Took my stepson up there for a birthday treat. He rode a lovely horse called Bracken and his teacher Sally built his confidence up throughout the lesson. I'm so pleased with this birthday present as it was great to get... More

After a looong time away from riding, I headed down to the farm with little ones (5 and 7) for a lesson. I had taken lessons as a teen, my husband had a few lessons in the past, and the kids were beginners - so we were a real mix of abilities. Following paperwork, fitting for hats (£2) and boots... My partner has lesson at this establishment and he thoroughly enjoys it. I think for beginners it is great as everybody is very welcoming and they make you feel part of this very large family (although I don't think any of them are related). From a more experience horse riders perspective I do feel that some of the information given... More
