It was extremely easy to get into the screening rooms because of the booking system. However, my only criticism is the price of the popcorn. If you want to get any sweets or popcorn, you should go to Wilkos or Poundland as the cinema sweets are about twice the price. Having said that though, I enjoyed watching Rogue One a... More

Despite having a perfectly good ticket office on the ground floor, Cineworld Cheltenham would rather cut costs and employ less staff so punters have to queue at the concession tills to buy tickets, along with every Tom Dick and Harry buying Cineworlds extortionate 'food' and treats. As such, the simple task of buying tickets takes forever! Oh yes, there are... More

We just visited this cinema and we're pleased with our experience. The booking system was very good and we could show our tickets electronically. The food and drink deals are a good price too. The seats were comfy and the whole place was clean and tidy.

The cinema is really good, having digital tickets is a nice touch and makes life so much easier. Seats in the IMAX were comfortable but shame you can't raise the armrest. Disappointed with the digital IMAX at this venue. The sound was far too loud, pixels are clearly visible making it hard to see actors faces when in the distance.

It is nice to catching up The Metropolitan Opera live from New York. I have been to this cinema to watch the Opera for a few years and I love them. It is good way to enjoy the opera on some Saturdays. It is Live HD. The sound effect is very good and watching the opera on the screen has... More

Website wasn't working properly so couldn't reserve tickets and had to go into the cinema early. Explained this to staff but it was like water off a ducks back - they didn't seem to care! Downstairs desks are all closed so you have to queue with everyone buying the extortionately overpriced drinks and snacks to get tickets. All felt like... More

Cheltenham's 'Cineworld', and its upmarket spin-off 'The Screening Room's, constitute the only available cinemas in Cheltenham. You won't get a buzz from meeting the staff, going into the murk of the building, the ambiance etc. You go because it is a convenient local place to see a film. Many Cheltenham people prefer to go to Gloucester or Stroud cinemas. Somehow... More

What a great idea. I discounted tickets and an early viewing. It was a wet morning and our toddler like being out and about so off we went. It's was easy to pick up our pre ordered tickets from the machine. The queue for snacks was long and stupidly sllloooowwww. A little frustrating with an excitable child. Seats were comfy... More

Wonderful place, helpful staff, clean place and toilets! Plenty of space. I'm disabled but didn't have a problem with the wide steps. I use a stick - not wheelchair! Went to see Split viewing at 310pm so not at all busy. Usually it's extremely busy even during the week so was impressed! Food and drink a rip off!

We had a film day and chose two to see on the same day AT Cineworld Cheltenham. The discount I got on the tickets was great but you'd need to take out a small mortgage for the food & drinks to take in. Good choice of films but my knees were in so much pain about half way through both... More
