Description:

Located in the picturesque village of Bourton on the Water, the Cotswold...

Located in the picturesque village of Bourton on the Water, the Cotswold Motoring Museum is a fascinating journey through the 20th century that the whole family can enjoy. The Museum is bulging with great cars, quaint caravans, precarious looking motorcycles, enamel signs and an intriguing collection of motoring curiosities! Brum, the BBC TV's little super hero car whose adventures start and end at the museum can be found here every day.

So much to see!

This is a great place to visit with so much to see. Things for all ages. A very reasonable price too. I'd highly recommend.

Half term. Rainy day. What to do?? Visited the motor museum. Thoroughly recommended. Full of nostalgia - classic cars, bikes, caravans, toys, tools. Arranged over seven rooms. Had the place to ourselves. Nice little shop as you enter/exit.

8 rooms crammed with classic cars, old toys and loads of memorabilia - this is a hidden gem for anyone who loves car history. They even let us bring in our little dog. Fantastic

Had a lovely visit on a rainy Sunday this month... Lots to see with a good selection of cars and motoring memorabilia. Plenty of advertising enamels along with a variety of other collections tucked here and there. The toy collection was particularly good and sent me fondly down memory lane. There is a QR code tour for those with phones... More

Whether or not you are a motoring enthusiast you will love this relatively small but cram packed museum. It's much more than just cars, it's all the things associated and more. Fabulous

You pay your money, go through the (Doctor Who) door and then you realise that there are six or seven rooms to see - full of exquisite motor cars, carts and artefacts. You name it, they've got it. And it all looks like it's been collected with loving care. Plus, you can swipe your iPhone and listen to commentaries as... More

Just a personal rant...5 stars for a small car museum. There's nothing special here, other than its stunning riverside location. Why do people insist on giving 5 stars to attractions like this. In my humble opinion it gives false hope to travellers expecting a 5* experience. A grading system is oh so personal but err on the side of wildly... More
