What a beautiful place this is, so pretty. Lots to see like the model village, Birdland, motor museum and the gorgeous river running through the village. Many querky shops and numerous places to eat. A must visit in the Cotswolds.
Driving through the Cotswolds, we stopped off for a walk around Bourton on the Water, as it was a wet day in October - so less tourists!

Bourton-on-the-Water is a large village which attracts many tourists and this is reflected in the prices and shops. It can be very busy. I think the village and the picturesque river Windrush running alongside the main shoping street are best visited out of season.
Charming village with a lovely walk along the riverside. Very picturesque and as such a bit of a tourist trap but that’s to be expected. Probably the best of the Cotswold villages we visited on our tour. Plenty of free parking a short walk from...More
