Yesterday I had the most stunning, inspirational operatic experience I've ever had. I trod the balance of Seesaw emotions churned up by the breathtakingly (literally - there were innumerable audible gasps from we entranced audience members at different times) staging, direction and performance of Saul....More

Just amazing weather and the gardens are looking superb. Peleas was divine and we rather liked the setting in the organ room. A welcome addition this season has been the collection of used wine bottles, which means we no longer have to lug them back...More

What a wonderful experience. A brilliant opera house and a fantastic production of Gulio Cesare. Having dinner in the long interval in the grounds just adds to the experience. The staff are very helpful.
