More
Our 2018 season started on 5 May. Pells Pool is the oldest documented freshwater public pool in the UK. We celebrated our 150th anniversary in 2011 and continue to welcome thousands to our unique pool in the summer months each year. The Pells Pool is a spring-fed pool - 46 metres long by 23 metres wide pool. There are facilities for the whole family to enjoy, from our tree-lined green lawn, sun terrace and exercise lane, to our children's paddling pool, floats and other recreational equipment. Come for the day and enjoy a picnic on the tree-lined lawn. We also serve hot and cold drinks, ice creams and a selection of cakes.

An awesome event a little busy on entry but well handled by all the staff. The hot chocolate and coffee was well needed after an hour in the water

Went here on a whim as our local lido was closed for refurbishment. We had some confusion getting to the actual lido due to it backing on to an industrial estate but after asking a few locals we got there. The pricing is good and...More

Glad you enjoyed the visit. We'll share these kind words with the team. We'll try again to get our county council to improve the street signs to get here. Useful to know that is not as good as it could be! All best wishes

We have lived in Lewes for a number of years now, and embarrassed to say, we've never visited Pells pool until yesterday. Nanny, myself (granddad), along with 17 year old uncle took our grandson for a swim. It is hard to believe that once you...More
