This is a must if you are visiting Lewes, particularly in spring and summer months. Spend an hour exploring the unusual collection of plants or find a quiet corner to just relax in the sun.

Lovely gardens,well kept with lots of seating and quiet corners .No dogs allowed so you don't have to worry about treading in anything .And it's free

Usually peaceful, nearly always a good display, refreshments in the summer, plenty of seats. Interesting public art.

Take some time to wander through the extensive gardens and take in the splendid flower beds, the rose garden, sit by the Mulberry tree and enjoy a cuppa and cake from the cafe. make sure you visit the Guild of Master Craftsmen shop too.

I've always loved the gardens since I went to school in Lewes in the 70's so when we decided to marry Southover Grange Registry Office and Gardens was the obvious choice. Lovely flower beds walls and arches such beautiful surroundings made our day more special....More

There is on street parking in Southover a Road adjacent to the park, for which you can pay at the nearby ticket machine.

It is not over large, but quite beautiful. You could walk around it in less than half an hour, or if you stop to admire the flowers you should allow an hour, (plus an extra 29 mins for a cuppa from the kiosk). There is... More
