Museum is very small, however rather informative, with plenty of display items, old photos and fishing boat you can climb onto. We were out in about 15 minutes, worth the visit if you are close by. Also you can ride a miniature steam engine train...More

Popped in here today as part of our stroll round the Stade. So much in such a small space. Loved the half boat cottage outside that was open too.

Wandered in here out of interest while killing some time before catching a train. Some very interesting artifacts and video footage. You can actually board the vessel they have housed within the museum. Not a huge place but definitely worth a look.

Visited today. It's great, you can even go on an old trawler. Lots of history and all they ask is a donation.

Located on the beach in historical surrounding of old fisheries, this museum is a nice gem. Seems as driven by local history lovers it is really warm welcoming to visitors. And it is free of charge!
