This area has a variety if eateries which seem to change quite often and you can always find something new here for you to see - have a look at the outside of the library for a step back in time

Plenty of places to eat and drink around here. It comes alive after pier concerts and at weekends. Taxi rank nearby and beach also nearby. Easy to find.

Lots of unique shops around, as well as the library. Particularly like the beer + wine shop! It's a little run down still and feels like there's more to do, but slow down as you stroll through. You may see something you like.

A subtle but vibrant vibe here around the Claremont Triangle - offering a few quirky , full of history and specialist independent shops offering anything from whole foods, to basic cafes, library, restaurants, wine bars to community arts cafe - well worth a stop off

I can't quite work this out other than it has a very strange historical past. If I was a policeman, I'd say, "move along, there's nothing to see here" but I'd be miss selling this quaint piece of Hastings history. This tiny trinity of streets...More

Real history, that you can relate to. Learn what the underdog did for himself/herself. Some on the businesses that were started here have only recently stopped trading.
