Had to look for this place to find it. It's through a covered walkway from the main road. Lovely building when we got there. I'm a sucker for lovely stained glass windows and this has them in droves.

This church was built in 18 something. It was at that time a very poor area and apparently a devout young rich man commissioned it...who i think later became the priest there. He wanted to reach out to the poor. The priests in that time...More

You enter the church by a covered walkway We were greeted by the staff Who were very friendly approachable and knowledgeable Beautiful. Peaceful Stained glass windows Lots to admire

You enter through a covered walkway from the street. When you enter the church you feel welcome by the staff who are ready to tell you everything about the church. Close to the center, worth a visit

I visited as a choir was practising for a concert, it's a lovely church with an icon and statues with a rood screen. Worth a visit if in Brighton

I haven't been there for a while but I am going back this Sunday having left St Michael's at last after 35 years of worshipping there. I am so excited! It is near the seafront and a short walk down from Brighton station.

This church was built in 1848, the architects surname was Carpenter, I wonder how much of his influence went into the design of the fantastic woodwork in the roof. There are fine stained glass windows and some of the internal wood fittings and carvings inherited...More
