Interesting place to visit if you like toys and models...not very big...you may struggle to fill an hour there but the price reflects that.

Quite an interesting cross secion of toys on display, but we only found a couple of demo exhibits ( at extra charge!) which were working. The area around the Museum is pretty decayed and in fact the whole of this are of Brighton could do...More

First of all, thank you for coming to visit the museum. I'm very sorry to hear that you found our interactive exhibits not to be working. At any one time we should have at least 5 clearly marked push buttons around the museum which activate...More

The 4 and 5 star reviews sum it all up. I can't see how anyone could not enjoy this museum. I felt this was more interesting than the V&A Museum of Childhood in Bethnal Green and I had more 'I had one of those!' moments...More

Its a small museum, but it offers a lot of Toy memorabilia to see, lots of items we had never seen before and plenty that brought back some memories. Well worth some of your time to visit memory lane. Some very nice Corgi items.

This was my first visit and I have to say, the collection across all toy genres is spectacular. The museum is packed with exceptional quality toys and models and the presentation and attention to detail, right down to the correct lighting is most impressive. It...More

This is a lovely little museum and not expensive. The staff are friendly and the exhibits are very well displayed. Children will find the exhibits a delight and older folks will find much that is fondly nostalgic here. I was especially struck by the display...More

I took a little boy with CP there who loves trains, the staff was very accommodating. He loved it, we stayed for almost an hour, which is a very long time for him to be interested in something. We will be visiting again.

Down the ramp from the station is the Brighton Toy and Model Museum. Perhaps a third is model railways, including a huge collection of Basset Loake - clockwork, electric and real steam. Also dolls houses, Dinky etc and a few model soldiers. If you are...More

This cute little place hidden under the train station has a great display of miniature toy cars and model trains. Very nice way to spend half an hour or so. Shame there isn't a lot of information on the history of the toys etc.

Fifteen minutes out of my life I could have done without, what a rip off when you look at the price of the Royal Pavilion tickets and spend two and a half hours in wonder. Train layouts not working indifferent staff when I complained. Avoid...More
