I just ran from Marina to Rottingdean.

Great views across the sea, of the cliffs and the marina from this path. I have lived in Brighton many years but this is the first time i have been on the undercliff walk. Next... read more

Great place to take in one of the natural beauty spots of Brighton. With the sea on one side and the undercliffs on the other, whether its for a stroll, a jog, a run, a cycle ride or just reminiscing, this is for those wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of the city for just a moment, whether by... Great views across the sea, of the cliffs and the marina from this path. I have lived in Brighton many years but this is the first time i have been on the undercliff walk. Next time i will try and extend the run to Saltdean.

Very beautiful place, although I feel there are many other places in Brighton to visit first and so this would be the last thing on the To Do list of completing Brighton. Very calm, beautiful views and definitely worth doing. Only giving 3 stars because it is only a walk, cliffs are beautiful but it's not the best attraction I've... More

I was very excited about seeing the white cliffs in Brighton and taking the undercliff walk. I thought it was going to be beautiful. While it is a nice paved walk way for walking or biking it is not beautiful. The cliffs are not very white anymore, they are covered with anchors and wire to hold them in place and... More

Get some down time in a lovely walk under the shelter of the cliffs. You can walk all the way to Rottingdean have a cream tea and get the bus back to Brighton.

I run 2 miles of the undercliff from Rottingdean to the Marina each day. Early morning it's great, if the sea is calm and there's no one around it's almost perfect. Doesn't smell at all of seaweed either. The CC keep it clean and mostly gravel free for the cyclists too.

We live in Brighton and this is one of our favourite walks at any time of the year and any time of the year. Need a rural walk too? Just park up by the nearby golf course and from their car park follow the well marked route to Ovingdean Village then up Ainsworth Avenue and across the hill to Rottingdean... More

I love the under cliff walk! I walk the dogs there on a regular bases. A dazzling variety of birds if you are into that! Cafes you can stop for a coffee or ice cream depending on the weather. If it's cold elsewhere it's normally warm on the walk! Only problem is the cyclist, not all just the maniac racing... More

A 2 mile walk right along beside the sea; lots of rock pools to explore when the tide's out and if the tide is high and the weather gusty the sea is likely to splash over the path and you can get soaked if you aren't quick enough. You can stop halfway for a coffee then continue on to the... More
