This is a beautiful walk in Brighton - you are so close to the sea but it feels sheltered under the cliffs. We went to the tea shop in Saltdean to reward ourselves afterwards.

We started off in Rottingdean parking in a small pay and display car park just off the main road and then walked from there in direction away from Brighton. Very scenic. Flat walk. Pebbles on some bits and slippery where puddles have been there for...More

You can start the walk from Brighton marina and it is certainly worth a walk I would guess about 2 miles in there is a outside cafe which is very handy for a pitstop. easy walk but very bright when sun is shining white cliffs...More

There have been some cliff rocks falls recently in the local news so I would advice any visitors to the cliffs in and around Brighton to avoid these types of walks. They are potentially dangerous and in my opinion unnecessary. More cracks appear in the...More

Walk under white cliffs just beyond Brighton Marina worth the effort to get there from downtown. Incredible to see layers of geological history.

I have walked this many times, from the pier to the Marina and beyond. It certainly blows away the cobwebs,

A fantastic walk along the beach. Under the cliffs you go towards Rottingdean. It's stunning. It's a flat walk. The views are beautiful. Really worth some of your time to take this walk.

We discovered this walk after looking for something different to do during the holidays and stared at the Marina and ended under the cliff at Mollys cafe in Rottingdean. We then retuned along the cliff top and we’re rewarded with some amazing views. Maybe next...More

Beautiful walk under chalk cliffs from Brighton Marina to the historic village of Rottingdean where Rudyard Kipling once lived. In summer its fun to explore the rocks and swim in the English Channel when the tide is in.

A really easy flat walk with fabulous views with the back drop of towering white cliffs. Of course it is a nicer walk on a sunny day, but is fun to go when the wind is gale force and the waves are crashing over the...More

Yes, the under cliff is open everyday. Please be careful especially during the winter and windy conditions, as the waves can come in over the wall. During the summer months it is a great walk, also spring and autumn. I like... More
