If you want jewelry or cafe/cakes, this is your place. Firstly, there are many jewelry shops. Some selling used or antique pieces, some selling new. Shops we nice, but some felt expensive where they gave no certifications on the diamonds. Great cafes and other shops selling good coffe (for the U.K. Anyway) and plenty of cakes, slices and donuts. I was visiting Brighton from the US and fell in love with the Royal Pavilion. When we went shopping in the area, I looked for a gold charm of the Royal Pavilion. I checked just about every jewelry store in the area. Gold Coast Jewelers had a charm in silver and offered to find out how much it would be... More

Love this area of Brighton, it has altered considerably over the past few years but well worth a wander. The majority of it is a car free zone and plenty of antique shops to look in. There are other, more modern shops and all worth a visit.

Well, what do you expect? Every international 'boutique' and a myriad of restaurants. Of course you take a walk around but don't miss the north Lanes which are more interest.

The lanes are what sets Brighton apart from other seaside towns. Really quirky~ lots of cafes, bars, jewellers, art shops. Independent shops thriving. You can get a bit lost if you are not used to them! Loved the lanes!

From Snoopers Paradise to Jump The Gun via vegetarian shoe shops and a Fudge Factory, this is a paradise far removed from "Everytown " shopping centres and multiple chain stores!! These are REAL shops run by real people and well worth a visit! Plus the added bonus of supporting small, local businesses. Something for everyone and really cool cafes and... More

The lanes are what Brighton is all about. Independent shops bars and little markets. Has a great atmosphere. You will find a different little gem of a shop pub or restaurant every time you visit.
