One of our family favourites!

Very picturesque, especially in summer and early autumn. It is so scenic. The slope on which the children's play area is, is quite distinct feature of this park. Not a huge park... read more

Delightful park with a bit of everything, including s great cafe that turns into a tapas restaurant on Friday evenings in the Summer. A small wood, tennis courts, formal gardens and plenty of space for dog walking. But the best time to go is on a Friday Summer's evening when the restaurant has a Spanish makeover to serve fantastic tapas.... More

A beautiful park - great kids play area - trees and scented garden, tennis courts. A real locals park that visitors rarely stray into. The cafe is superb - slightly pricey - but YUM Yum YUM ! :)

Over priced coffee but in nice gardens. I walk my dog regularly since moving here and as a coffee lover, only been the once which is a shame. Not impressed really

Very picturesque, especially in summer and early autumn. It is so scenic. The slope on which the children's play area is, is quite distinct feature of this park. Not a huge park but quite a few options. It has got a certain mystery (as well as history) around it which is evident. The flats in the background is a bit... More

As a nanny I often bring the kids to this cafe as the park is wonderful, and the cafe is always a winner. Wether it's to escape the rain and have a coffee, snack or lunch the food is great, and you can't beat sitting outside on a beautiful days whilst kids and dogs all leap about. I come on... More

This café is set in the grounds of St Ann' Well Gardens which is a very pretty area. The cafe is very popular with mums and children particularly when school finishes. They do good coffees , a range of teas, nice homemade cakes and savouries. Seating is in and outside. They will do take away as well. Take a stroll... More

Visited these gardens a few times in the summer. Very beautiful place to have a picnic and if you can visit midweek in the spring or summer it is usually quiet. Gardens are very well kept and the cafe simple but good. There is also the lovely art shop/gallery nearby which adds to the area.

Such lovely gardens to stroll through on a sunny day. The cafe is always busy and lively. There is time to watch the lawn bowls or tennis, or retire to the private garden.
