Nice Park with some slopes , good paths around, planting and open space and childrens play area. The well feature is a bit disappointing being a modern brick construction with little character.

Good range of snacks and/or meals. Fabulous location..cosy in winter but great in the garden when the weather permits.

The gardens are nice---nothing out of the ordinary. No outstanding features, I went to visit because the name caught my eye.

Perhaps this place is OK for a coffee...but ordering lunch for one was a disaster! The lunch I ordered - soup and a main course - arrived together. When I pointed out that wasn't what I wanted the person serving me said that was how...More

A well stocked park with views from the past, a cafe, bowling green, childrens play area and plenty of space for dogs

This is my local park so I often stroll around it. Some of it is gently hilly and lightly wooded with some magnificent trees. There's a conservation area for wildlife. The autumn colours are glorious, yet I think the park is at its loveliest in...More

I'm giving top marks for the park, not the cafe. It's always calm there, you can sit on a bench or find a bit of grass to have your lunch, borrow a Rizla paper off someone if you're short, knock a few balls around the...More

It's pleasant enough but I would advise you that it is often a "mums and toddlers" meeting place so not the quietest. The "rest rook" is debatable as I am only aware of the public toilet facility in the adjacent building.
