I love Preston Park. There is a space for everyone here - with an acceptance of all. The rotunda cafe has upped their game in recent years and I really like the wild flower addition. Great park!

I didn't look in the house - it was closed - but there is a lovely walled garden behind the house. It's not big but has lovely borders with a big range of cottage garden plants. On a Sunday morning I was the only person there and it was a nice place to spend 15 mins.

Every time we've been in the area, it's been cordoned off for special events/festivals, so we've never actually been able to get in the park. I'm sure it's very nice when you don't have to pay to get in, though.

On one side of the road into Brighton is Preston Park where there were two sections of wild flower meadow. Unfortunately one part was past its prime. On the other side of the road is The Rock Garden which was very good. The paths are rather rough so watch your step. However, the plantings were good. There was a large... More

Preston Park is around 30 minutes walking from the Pier, all London Road walking up. It's great for feeling the nature in Brighton, has some courts to play tennis, football or basketball. Or you can also relax and picnic :-).

I visited Preston manor expecting it to be worth a visit, but I was not impressed with the size of the witch craft exhibition, it was in just one small room, I would say it was very poor. The house was nice but it doesn't take very long to see everything.

This is a great park for walking, jogging, relaxing, picnic - whatever floats your boat really. There is so much to see and do in here and for the four days I was staying just opposite, I went walking in the park every day. There are two cafes although I didn't use either so can't comment on them but they... More

Look lovely. You can park along the street outside and it has lots of little Rock gardens in Preston Rock Gardens and seats.
