What a fabulous place to go for a walk on a sunny day. The views are fantastic and so interesting to see. Not an easy walk for anyone with mobility issues, but certainly worth a visit even if only to sit on the grass and enjoy the scenery.

We booked to sit in the restaurant end of the pub, and had a really great waitress named Sally..food took awhile to arrive but were told when ordering. It was a busy Saturday lunchtime and a very sunny day so place was full of people up on the Downs for a walk. M

Had never visited before so pleasantly surprised with what we found. Great views across The Downs, fresh air and a walk through the Dyke. A great way to spend a Sunday!

Well worth visiting, good clean air along with amazing views! If you like being in the countryside but near to a City town centre then this is a place to visit. 15 minutes from town!

For any one visiting Brighton a trip up to Devils Dyke is a must. You can easily reach the Dyke by getting a 77 bus from the Clock Tower in the centre of Brighton, the journey takes around 45 minutes and a return ticket will cost you around £5.00. There are a number of nature walks and paths which will... More

Beautiful drive up to Devil's Dyke for a lovely short walk around and to the pub for lunch. Wonderful on a sunny day as you can see for miles.

We had some gorgeous weather for England in March, and took advantage by spending an afternoon on the Dyke. You can see for miles on a clear day, and walk as long as or as little as you want. You can't beat the views. There is a restaurant at the top of the Dyke as well that you can stop... More

My last visit to a Vintage Inn ( not this one) was a complete disaster so we were a little apprehensive but The Devils Dyke hotel had been recommended so we thought we would give it a go and what a pleasant surprise we had. The atmosphere was good, the room well lit ( perhaps a little too well lit... More
