The clock tower, aside from being very nice to look at, is excellent to use as a meeting point to avoid getting lost in the busy high street!

The clock tower looks wonderful at Christmas with fairy lights strung out from it to the buildings around. It was restored by the council some years ago and the dome at the top retains its splendour. Sadly the gold ball at the very top which...More

iconic part of Brighton town centre. unfortunately it’s been many years since seeing the gold ball rise, and chime the hour. apparently local residents find it noisy. .....so move. don’t ruin a landmark

Best place to meet. There is a story of the keys being brought back from Australia. Beautiful Victorian historical architectural monument.

The royal portraits, statues and mosaics tell of a different era and the construction has been well maintained. Note the gilded rising globe on the top which is not as in some seaside towns a storm warning but part of the clock, rising at each...More

This is an ideal place to meet and adds a nice tone to the surroundings. I have no idea of the history of it, which is a bit of a shame as it is rather lovely.
