Amazing rocks at the south of the United Kingdom
An amazing coastline with amazing rocks at the south of the United Kingdom that everyone who comes to this area should see. I strongly recommend wearing comfy clothes and suitable walking shoes because you have to walk at least for 2 hours. Take at least a bottle of still water with yourself and you can refill it at some stations. Enjoy it and don't forget beautiful and memorable photos. You can reach there by Bus or your car.

    Amazing Views!
Amazing views. Definitely worth visiting. It is quite a walk from the car park, but worth it. Lots of grassy areas to have a picnic or sit down and relax. We went to Corfe Castle and then Old Harry Rocks.

    Beautiful, worth the trip.
We’ve been before by walking all the way from Swanage. This time we parked at studland and walked from there, we were lucky it was a beautiful day. It’s a good path that’s mostly flat. Beautiful views . I recommend after going down to South beach/ middle beach- lovely stretch of beach - especially good for little ones.

Highly recommended easy walk, if in the area. Take the Ferry from Sandbaks,to Studland Village, or drive from Swanage, Corfe Castle Village, which is a great visit also and can be combined with this walk. Park in NT CP next to Bankes Pub, which has a nice outdoor dining area. There is also a small Beach Hut Tea Room (Joes) some 250m away on South Beach,. can't be accessed once on the walk; also toilets at walk start. The Rocks are approx 1.25 miles from the CP, along a decent path, with a gradual climb, though not onerous. Great views, across Studland Bay to the beaches at Studland & Sandbanks, also views of Bournemouth. We took a picnic and stopped on a promontory, about 2/3 of the way on the cliff top, great panorama. The Rocks are a great place for a photo opportunity and we noticed a number of passenger boats sailing round the rocks, which you can take from a number of places, which must also provide spectacular views of the Rocks. Great vantage point on the headland to take pix, also great views over to the Needles on the IOW. We just walked direct to the Rocks and back the same way, but the walk can be extended to a triangular walk of about 3.5 miles, by walking up to Ballard Down, where you get views of Swanage, and then back downhill, at the end of which is another cafe.. It was a lovely warm sunny day when we did our walk, with little wind, but it is quite exposed on the cliff tops, so I imagine can get very cold & blustery on lesser days. Enjoy

Lovely easy 1 mile walk to see Old Harry from the South Beach car park at Studland. Toilets at the start and a small beach hut serving snacks and drinks is a 250m walk at South Beach itself. (No access to South Beach from Old Harry Rocks) Along the walk you'll see great views across the bay to Knoll Beach and Bournemouth.
South Beach was also a lovely quiet beach to cool your feet after the walk on a warm day. Recommend stopping off there with a picnic afterwards!
Parking is National Trust so free for members or £5 for non-members (I think that was 4hrs worth)

Walked up the path from Studland village on a sunny breezy autumn day. Great views of Studland Bay, Old Harry, the Needles and dramatic white cliffs edging this popular coastal path. Added attraction this year is the cruise ship sculpture park off the coast. Take binoculars and a camera.

We parked at the National trust car park.short two min walk downhill to a pathway which leads straight to the Harry rocks ( about one mile). the car park is free for blue badge holders and 4/7 pounds for 2 hrs/ all day if you do not hold a blue badge).Go later around 3pm and most of day trippers have gone home .You can easily combine a trip to Arne nature reserve, monkey world or Corfu castle into your day trip as all are close by.

We went on City Cruises from Swanage which offer a few different cruises between Swanage and Poole. We did the Jurassic cruise which goes past Old Harry’s Rocks, Brownsea Island, Sandbanks and Poole. The scenery is fantastic!

We Parked at South Beach Car Park, I do recommend take a map with you it's a circular walk but we walked further than we needed to ending up walking too long with a 18month old. Take some snacks and before you start there is a toilet you can you just after the Bankes pub. Lovely views.

Fantastic morning walk. Very easy trail through grasslands to get to these spectacular sights. It took us around 40 minutes to the rocks but we were just dawdling along. There is a full circuit that also can be done, that one fellow walker told us was 4.8 mile. But we just did the Rocks and back.
This was a photographers delight and there were several painters set up there on the day we went as well.

We walked from Swanage to Old Harry rocks and then on to Studland and back to Swanage, a lovely circular walk along the coast path. The walk from the car park was about a mile to the spectacular coastline. All areas are signposted, so the location is easily accessible. My husband and i soaked up the sunshine and felt thoroughly invigorated by the beauty of what surrounded us.

The first part of the walk is a gentle incline on an uneven and stony terrain. It soon levels out as you approach Old Harry Rocks across grasslands. It's a pretty walk and the views of Old Harry and the white cliffs are stunning.

There are toilet facilities a mile before you get to the rocks, along with pubs and friendly cafés. I would have liked to have seen more opportunities to dispose of litter. However, overall the views from the cliff were stunning and will draw you back again and again.

Walked to Old Harry Rocks from Swanage. Not that far, but a fairly steep climb.

Old Harry Rocks are spectacular and worth a visit. Many people park in the car park and walk in, as it's only about a mile and is very flat.

Great views up and down the coast.

On Wednesday mornings, the SBS regularly drop troops into the sea from low flying aircraft.

Went to Studland from Sandbanks on the ferry, parked at the South Beach car park and went on a two-hour round walk to Pld Harry Rocks. The weather was glorious and the scenery stunning! There is a pub with a large garden and South Beach with Joe’s cafe is just before. A great place to visit!
