This is such a lovely day out for all the family if you like to walk and be by the sea. Old Harry's Rock is accessible via road past Swanage or ferry from Poole. If you take the ferry from Poole you have to pay both ways but you could do the ferry one way and then return by road... More

We walked from Swanage which is a lovely seaside town. Parking is £3.20 for the day along the seafront. We walked up the Sturidge footpath and turned right to walk along the top of the downs. It looks like a fantastic paragliding spot, as there were six on a sunny day. It's a very easy walk if you can do... More

This walk can be done in different ways, short or long. The longer one is a circular walk, anti clockwise,to get the best views. Park next to pub in the village and walk past the sign to Old Harry round to the right . The path goes up a steep hill, but the view from the top is worth the... More

We parked in a National Trust car park by the Pig On The Beach pub. The walk to Old Harry's Rocks is about 30 minutes from there with good views of the sea and the rocks as you walk towards them. There's 2 pubs on the way also to add to your trip with views in the pub gardens over... More

free to park before 08:00. About 20mins walk to headland. Worth getting there early for sunrise pix.

Visited with my wife, two teenage children and two dogs. Very easy to find the car park and at a cost of £4 for the day is great value for money. You can even use the ticket at the other car parks. Takes about 20 mins to walk to Harry's Rock down and up a steep hill. Once you get... More

Our friends took us here for the first time recently - been to Swanage before but not this bit! Lovely walk along the coast and brilliant when you get to the rocks - dont walk out to the end if you're scared of cliff edges and narrow paths !!! Was so good - look forward to going back again!

This is a beautiful nature walk that ends with these phenomenal cliffs. I do not recommend this hike with young children, no guard rails with extreme drops. You can be daring and walk out on a tiny path that drops off on both sides. I suggest parking at the restaurant and walking down to the path, it is not very... More

The walk along the Purbeck hills to reach Old Harry Rocks, is probably the most scenic you could hope for. It is breathtaking and well worth the effort once you reach Old Harry!

Was staying at Swanage, got the bus to the chain ferry terminal at Studland, walk along Studland Beach (watch out for the nudists) to Old Harry Rocks then across the headland back to Swanage. Brilliant walk.
