Spend some time researching ancient Egypt with your kids, then make some models. You will save yourself a whole lot of dosh. This exhibition is a real ripoff (most things are replicas). Despite being in the same building, they actually charge you twice - once...More

Very expensive for 2 Adults and 2 children under 10. So much so only 3 of us went in, not very interesting, and you had to pay and extra for the Mummy exhibition upstairs! Sorry it could have been very educational but far to pricey...More

Not a great exhibition and quite boring for children maybe ancient history is not my thing but hard to tell if the items there were real or copies. They are presented in quite a sterile way. I have seen similar exhibitions in other locations around...More

Really not worth the money charged it's very small in there and we were out within 30 minutes. Also get charged further to see the mummie exhibition up stairs.

We found the exhibit interesting but seeing as it only took just over an hour to do found it poor value for money give the price of £8.95 per adult plus another £2.50 to see the mummies upstairs. Really do not understand why this was...More

If we had only visited this museum I would say that it was very expensive. However, we purchased a ticket that gave admission to other smallish museums in the same area, all within walking distance of each other. Lots of things to read about and...More

Not bad place to visit if you have got time to waste. Not to be taken too seriously as only replica's are available to see. A lot of money to pay for just a small exhibition. Not very good access for disabled people.

A superb exhibition spoiled only by the extremely rude lady on the front counter . We had selected a momento and waited 4 or 5 minutes while she chatted to another visitor , as they left she entered into a convertsation with the gentleman standing...More

Shame our visit to the museum didn't go as planned My parents (in their 70's) were a bit disappointed to have to pay full price, no penion concession, and despite our 6 year old getting tearful and saying she wasn't sure if it was going...More

I would say half an hour to threequarters of an hour to read and look at all the details and exhibits thoroughly.
