Hengistbury head has many different walks to follow. Some are NOT suitable for disabled people. From here there are good views of Christchurch Priory, Isle of Wight, and across Poole Bay to Old Harry rocks. There is a visitor centre and café near the car park (Pay & Display) There is also a land train that runs from the visitor... More

Rain or shine it's always awesome. The land train is fun whether you're 6 or 60 and it now has a very educational information centre about the history of the head.

If you have a canine companion or two, this is one place you'll have to visit whilst in the area - but you will have to watch where you're walking when wending your... More

We have been visiting Hengistbury Head for many, many years. It is still beautiful despite tarmac walkways having been introduced. In fact these make the slopes a bit easier now we have grown old! Our two wonderful young granddaughters have now been introduced to Hengistbury - and they loved it as well. In fact we would have preferred to write... More

Lovely area lots of great walks for adults dog walkers and families. Great in good weather or nice to watch the force of the waves in bad weather. Always have a lovely time around here it is a bit steep in places so not really suited for those with poor mobility although some paths are accessible.

It was a gorgeous walk, even with the cold foggy start. It's a beautiful place. It's clean and tidy, well kept. No rubbish with lots of dog waste bins around.
