Good paths leading around the headland and great views across to the needles, the polar bear, and old Harry rocks. Car park a bit expensive and although you can park for free on the road you're limited to one hour which isn't really long enough...More

There is not a lot to do at hengistbury head but if the sun is shining it's a real sun trap. You can get a meal or am ice-cream here but really it's all about the beach.

Hengistbury is a family favourite. Go fly a kite. Go for a long walk. Go for a dip. Sit and relax watching the boats as they sail on the breeze. An historical place where evidence of the iron and bronze ages have been discovered.

Walking for exercise stunning scenery, even in the winter. There is a pay car park at the entrance or free along the main road. If you run out of steam or it rains there is a Land train to take you back!

Yes, although I would suggest keeping dogs on leads due to live stock but awesome views. Visit the Hungry Hiker after your walk as they have a good selection of light bites.
