Just to say that the reviews are true in that this is a great place for a visit. Did not visit the visitors Centre which closed on Sunday at 4.00 pm. Went for a walk , Very windy day. Great views and a good place to walk the dog and run the legs off any children.

Had a walk around Hengistbury Head with a group of friends. Walked around the beach-huts and back over the Head. It was a beautiful sunny day, and the views of Isle of Wight were amazing.

Apart from the dog having the time of her life running endlessly this is an amazing walk! Stunning views all around...a lot to take in. Lovely cafe before you leave or after to come back....A lovely place.

We had a pleasant walk, saw plenty of people walking dogs but not much else. Nice views of the coastline. Very good little cafe.

At the end of Bournemouth bay this headland is used all year round by us locals. Large car park and cafe with little noddy train that goes to Mudeford spit and the famous beach huts which you can walk to in half an hour. So a great few hours or so can be spent here with kids dogs or just... More

You can walk or take the little train to explore this lovely place, wildlife areas, a beautiful beach and courses run by the County Council in outdoor pursuits and for children a great place to look for fossils from the Jurassic coast

Hengistbury head has many different walks to follow. Some are NOT suitable for disabled people. From here there are good views of Christchurch Priory, Isle of Wight, and across Poole Bay to Old Harry rocks. There is a visitor centre and café near the car park (Pay & Display) There is also a land train that runs from the visitor... More
