Just been to a conference at The Marriott up the road where there was no room at the inn so my colleague booked us into the Royal Bath Spa Hotel (despite the fact it's in Bournemouth). It must be the biggest hotel in the South...More

Tired mismatched decor , dirty walls and carpets, uninspiring standard breakfast. Staff are rude, and didn't see one member of staff smile. Such a shame beautiful building but sadly that's all it's got ! Would never stay here again.

We stayed here for a weekend. The location is great. It backs onto the seafront albeit up a hill. It has a grand bar/lounge area a main dining room and a more up market dining room which looked really nice and romantic but we went...More

The Royal Bath used to be Bmths' finest Hotel, those days have definately gone. For a 59.00 a night deal on a Sunday there is not much you may expect. The room was fine, functional, but in need of refurb in the near future, staff...More

We booked extra for a Seaview and it was stunning but the Hotel inside is very dated, I felt they were only interested in squeezing every last penny out of you £20 for parking, £1 each for towels for the Spa, £1 each for lockers...More

I have already reserved a room in the Royal Bath Hotel as a conference is being held there for 8 days this October. I have mentioned to them that I have a disability (broken back) but I am wondering if it would be better to cancel and change my hotel? One of the things that made me think of staying there is that it is where the conference will be held, so I wouldn't have to travel, but also because of the spa and pool as that would help my back pain. Could you give me any advice? Yours, greatfuly, Martin Rosen

Morning Martin, When I stayed at this hotel I had no need for the pool or spa, so am not sure as to how easy it would be to access this area of the complex but am sure like other answers a quick call to the hotel would... More

Is there anywhere outside in the hotel grounds you can lock a push bike up over night if your staying in the hotel?

Not totally sure but... I think probably a yes because our room had doors leading onto a fairly secluded garden area (shared by another 2 suites). And if it comes to it you could probably wheel your bike into your room... More
