The ride on the wheel was okay overall, nice views over Torquay. Didn’t enjoy being stationary at the top for approx 6-7 minutes - we assumed this was to appreciate the scenery from above but I felt a bit uneasy and preferred the wheel when it was rotating. Also staff were not very friendly. Not worth doing more than once.

Rip off! Only 4 times round max.. 5 mins or less. Nice views but disappointingly short, especially as there was no queue.

We would have liked to have experienced this attraction but it was not available when we visited on November 7 2019. We were told that it had been dismantled and was on loan overseas.

The Riviera Wheel is no longer at this landmark. When it was there it was well worth visiting. Although I am afraid of heights, if you brave it you will be well rewarded with spectacular views. On my first visit I queued and then chickened out due to my fear of heights. Since then I have been on it twice and although quite hair raising for me, I was glad that I did it.
Hope it returns one day.

The wheel was not there on this visit. I don't know if that is temporary or if it has been removed forever.

Not a sign of the whee in Site! Where did it go to? Very disappointed! Such a shame as we both would have loved to have gone on it to see the beautiful views of Torquay!

It was great fun to go up in the wheel but not for those afraid of heights. The goldolas do rock if you move around in them unless you move slowly and carefully. The view is unparalleled however and you go around twice.
Well worth a go once.

Mainly the cost, thou can have bubbly etc private capsule, thou you get capsule to yourself anyway as would only get maximum of 4 in one anyway.
Possibly more for special occasions. Look at the website as has all information on it.
Certainly worth the trip but normal price, if need take your own tipple thou only lasts about 12 to 15 minutes and that's twice round, would depend on how many people getting on and off the wheel as to time to go round.
Enjoy

Is the wheel in Torquay this year. We were there a couple of weeks ago and there was no sign of it going up? Thought it may be there for Easter.

Hi, unfortunately the wheel has been disassembled as it's the end of the season, but it's being reassembled in Plymouth for the winter season, but will be back next summer in Torbay I think
