On a dismal rainy 'summer' Wednesday, how could we not pop in here for an early cider? (had hoped for lunch as well but doesn't appear to do much in the way of food). While away an hour or so with a pint of Rattler...More

We love the Cider Press - various screens to watch a range of matches. Always a good atmosphere with plenty of people. They offer food in the day time and have regular live music. We have taken our daughter and a (well behaved) dog on...More

Fantastic staff, such a great atmosphere, variety of music and sports. Very interested in our 110 mile charity walk we took part in when arriving in Torquay.

Went there one Sunday lunchtime, very friendly staff and a superb singer Steve Laister, he had them rocking in the street. Highly recommended

very quaint looking pub in the town centre but one of the most expensive for drinks. Plays all of the sports on a big screen and several tvs.

Bar staff had an attitude. Very un welcoming. We walked in and walked straight back out again after asking a question and getting a arsey one word answer.

Great variety of proper ciders, the staff are really friendly and the atmosphere was fantastic! We tried several pubs and bars but always came back to this place. Decent prices and 50p for a game of pool. ❤️ the Rattler.

If one likes cider they'll love the Cider Press as they have numerous tasty ciders on tap. There seems to be many regulars in at 3pm and seems a friendly pub.
