I loved this little place. It is chock full of very well-preserved relics of the past displayed in windows as if on a typical Victorian high street in buildings on two levels.

Really interesting . Allow at least a couple of hours to browse then have a coffee in the on site cafe and return for more browsing!

For a couple of hours max to spend, for us oldies and trip back to old times, staff friendly, some exhibits not quite in keeping with the times, and some of the dolls etc out of proportion and may scare the smaller ones. Not disabled...More

Many thanks for your visit, we are pleased you enjoyed it. Our ground level is accessible for wheelchairs but unfortunately we are unable to have lifts fitted as it is a 1920s build.

This place is packed full of amazing items. It is a great place to visit if you like history and the past. You can spend a long time looking at all the items and it is very well done.

Yes! We are completely dog friendly in the whole building, even in our cafe where the staff will find a seat that conforms to our health and safety. We get lots of dogs in (of course free of charge!). Hope to see you and... More

Hi, yes we recommend 1 hour to 1.5 hours but as you can see from all the other positive comments, many people spend longer as there is so much to see across the 3 floors!
