Many thanks for your kind review, it certainly is deceptive looking at the outside when in fact we have 3 floors jam-packed with things to see! We hope to see you again.

This is a brilliant museum, packed with fabulous memorabilia which covers all things British. I bought a recipe booklet here 25 years ago and still use it regularly. We visit every couple of years or so.

A very interesting and informative family run place to look round. A great deal of patience, knowledge and understanding of the era has gone into creating the exhibits. Well laid out and signposted allowing visitors to view everything at their own pace. A real 'step...More

Took my parents in law here and they really enjoyed it. It's quite compact but they have managed to squeeze an awful lot in to a small space, including a steam train...!!!

What a gem---Victorian street scenes, sweet shops, trenches, full size steam train, model railway, etc, etc. This is an Alladin's cave with Tardis-like proportions and a must-see for all ages. The coffee shop serves hand-made meals and cakes, too. Brilliant!

Hi, yes we recommend 1 hour to 1.5 hours but as you can see from all the other positive comments, many people spend longer as there is so much to see across the 3 floors!
