The pretty village of Cockington and Cockington Court are very nice places to visit for a quiet afternoon away from the busy nearby towns. It's remarkable that this quiet village is so close to Torquay and Paington. There are pleasant walks in and around the village as well as a good number of cafes and a good pub/restaurant. Cockington is... More

We have visited as a family on numerous occasions and will continue to do so, it's such a beautiful place. There are plenty of places to visit for a cream tea, lovely walks in the grounds, lots of independent sellers with unique gifts and artisan items for purchase. One of my favourite things is watching the glass blowing, very talented... More

What an absolutely stunningly beautiful place.. we had hours of fun with our 4 year old and our puppy!! We played on the fields, walked round the lakes and had drinks at the tea rooms. We will undoubtedly visit again on our next trip to the area 😊

The Hall has an art gallery with some local artist exhibitions, a restaurant, large grounds for dog walkers or picnics. Beautiful little church to the left of the hall. You can take a horse drawn carriage to and from the Hall to the beautilful Cockington Village. Lovely walks.

The whole of the Cockington Experience is great and needn't cost very much - plenty to keep families of all ages occupied. Crafts, cafes, picnic areas and walks to. Are just a few of the things available to you. If you love History you will really enjoy your visit🙂

Great place to visit, with a large variety of shops. In particular we enjoyed the Cockington Chocolate company shop. With many different types of chocolate coming in many shapes and sizes it included everything chocolatey you would ever need to buy for yourself and others. Also at Cockington Court there was many gift shops and even a play park and... More
