When I told my friend that I had discovered this lovely little park just off Mutley Plain, he told me that for years it had been known locally as 'Dead Man's Park' because over barely a year around 2008 there had been two or three...More

Set alongside Moorview Terrace, a smallish fenced space with grass play area, some gravel paths and several benches. Offers views eastwards toward Dartmoor. Occassional rumble as trains pass underneath through Mutley tunnel on mainline railway. Well used park by all ages. Children playing. Some adults...More

I hadn’t been around the Moorview Area for many years and if memory serves me correctly - and it doesn’t always- Moorview Parliament was once a Bowling Green. Nowadays this Green Area has been turned into a nice quiet Park which serves the Community well....More

There is a TripAdvisor listing for the caravan place amongst the Modbury threads. Meanwhile Moorview Park Mutley, correctly referred to on the council website as ‘a pocket sized park’ is still going strong and is well used being the only relaxing green space sanctuary close...More

Convenient late evening to bring your takeaways and maybe a bottle or can. Just behind the south eastern late night action of Mutley Plain. Brought a carry out from Wokfusion and slipped around the back. Beware, although there is no bye law preventing eating here,...More

Adult only site very quite and peaceful very well maintained. The services are spotlessly clean close to all south Devon resorts but far enough to be fural

Smallish, but still useful and a pleasant space while so close to Mutley Plain. Very well used by kids and adults. Little stage at northern end is often used or mostly impromptu but some organised music and other performances.

Still going strong as an excellent well maintained little corner. Close to but separate from the bustle where you can chill picnic or perform.

Can't understand why this attractive useful little park over the railway on the east side of Mutley Plain hasn't found its way with all the other Plymouth parks into the Tripadvisor parks section. Good place to sit picnic or just relax.

Understated and like an easygoing simple well kept back garden. Very convenient just close to but far enough from the bustle and incessant traffic of a Mutley Plain.
