This church has the most unique if not most beautiful stained glass of any church that I have seen in England. The statue in front of the church completed in 2017 is also a most see and a beautiful addition to a wonderful church.

I have passed this church many times without going in. Today I went in for a visit and boy was it worthwhile. The stained glass windows are absolutely stunning. I have been in many churches with stained glass windows over the years and this is...More

This is Plymouths hidden gem. This church has risen like a phoenix following the bombing in the second world war. There are six spectacular windows which were designed by John Piper representing creation and the life of Christ. This is truly a symbol of Gods...More

An amazing church, full of history, but also a place to sit in quiet contemplation and gather your thoughts.

A beautifully cared for vibrant building in the centre of the city. The space is open, modern, lively. Stunning John Piper windows, altar, side chapels. I would love to have head the organ played with its separated pipe groupings.

This church is huge and has an impressive presence when you walk in the door. It s not old or has special decorations aside from the wonderful modern stained glass within the East windows. On a sunny day the light from these is breath-taking.

Quite impressed by the recently installed statue of St Andrew casting his net. I fear for the net itself which must be at risk of distortion or vandalism within a few months but I hope that its relevance and quality may put off even the...More

Visited St Andrews on a rainy day in Plymouth and glad we did. Knowing nothing about the church we were glad that one of the guides in the church took it upon herself to explain the history of the church following its bombing during a...More

Before matins Sunday morning, at least one night a week and sometimes before weddings. I've always though that it would be good if the very best was put in for a funeral but apart from a single tolling bell I've not noticed... More
