A nice walk in the country

A pretty part of the area with an easy walk on an old rail track so suitable for bikes as well. Parking is easy and signposts help direct.

Beautiful walks, lots of trails, a river, ideal for dog walking. Lots of fauna and wildlife to take in.

Great place to go dog walking. Acres of mature woods to walk through. There are cycle paths as well. The river runs right through the middle. Lots of pathways to explore. Free car park.

Easy to get to, plenty of wildlife and history. Spotted 4 Kingfishers there in the space of 15 mins. Very tranquil place to chill out unless you want to do the Park Run held every Sat morning.

Great place on a sunny or rainy day! Go for a swim if it's sunny! Lovely place to walk around and get back to nature

I am lucky enough to go though these woods on most days on my commute to work - on foot or bike depending on my needs. The woods can be accessed from Coypool car park (Plymouth Marsh Mills Side) just under 2 mile walk or if you happen to be there on a Sunday the Plym Valley Train can take... More

Lovely place for children to explore. There is even a river that you could play in but it is cold. You can walk your dogs there, they love to play in the woods & river... the only downside is that some dog owners don't pick up after there dogs which is very infuriating.. other than that it's a massive place... When we first discovered this walk with the dog we only used the path which was also a cycle track which can be dodgy when cyclists either don't use a bell or ring it when they are too close! Then we got to the other side of the river. Gorgeous, no bikes, paddling spots for the dog (or children) ,... More

We happened across the lovely spot through friends we accompanied on a dog walk. If you park at Coypool park and ride (free) you can cycle along the well kept (and flat) cycle track to the PlymBridge Woods car park. From here, cycle up the trail all the way to Clear Brook where you can sample a well deserved drink... More
