We love just strolling round Sutton Harbour on a nice day. There are so many cafes and it's often bustling with people. Our favourite walk used to be a round trip across the bridge and we have almost forgotten what that was like.....it's been so...More

Really, Sutton Harbour? Time to put a stop to the farce of having the bridge across the harbour mouth permanently closed. Get a grip and get it fixed. You are making a fortune from berthing fees and have little or no regard for the businesses...More

Lovely place to have a stroll around. Very pretty and a lot of historical buildings, like the Elizabethan House, Plymouth Gin Distillery and Mayflower Steps.

Sutton Harbour is a nice marina with a range of shops and cafes. You can arrange boat trips here or just watch the boats coming and going. Very relaxing.

Nice cool place for a walk around the shops and cafes or sit and watch the boats going in and out. This used to be where the spices were landed and therefore has historic significance.

Sutton Harbour is probably most of interest to those who enjoy looking at rows of boats but it is very similar in my view to many modern marinas with its modern bars / restaurants. If you have done Barbican and want a longer walk after...More

A little less activity on this site of the harbour if you compare it with the Barbican site. We walked around the entire harbour twice because the bridge between the Sutton and Barbican site was suddenly closed due to problems. But it was no punishment,...More
