This was my first visit to The Drum and saw Napoleon Disrobed. Cracking little venue and a great performance. A much needed venue as it’s not all about the big stage, lots of costumes, huge audiences etc. Already booked to see other performances there.

Have been watching shows here for years and the standard is very high! A bit more experimental than The Lyric stage in the Theatre Royal and often better for it. Reasonably priced and often hold post show discussions.More

Sits about 175 in various configurations. Always 2 wheelchair spaces but flexible. Specialises in innovative and often intimate performances and seems to attract a slightly different crowd than the large adjacent auditorium now slightly oddly renamed the Lyric stage. Good Acting I like how they but a twist on the Music it was a about 1 and a half hours i would %100 again The acting is very realistic Its has smooth jazzy Music.

I love the Drum space and have seen dozens of various and fine performances of so many difficult types. Keep your eyes on the schedules and each season you will find several things you will enjoy. None of the schmaltzy formality of the main auditorium....More
