Called into the library to look up information that I knew was available in files in the old library. Could not find the files (newspaper cuttings). Staff could not find the files, no one knew where they were and no one knew how to find...More

I'm not a fan of this 'renewed' library at all. It's all crammed in and honestly feels absolutely chaotic. As others have pointed out, this is not a quiet library by any stretch of the imagination. It feels a lot more like the few times...More

The good points are the library is nicely laid out with the books and computers spread evenly throughout, spacious and airy with a coffee shop and pleasant outdoor seating area, but I do feel a number of staff need training in customer service, my phone...More

I found this a very odd place. Yes it's mostly white and there are several shelves. It is very exposed to passage by.there seems to be no restriction whatsoever on any conversation, or the use of phones - not least loud ring tones. There is...More

It's a gorgeous building and while some parts inside aren't as pretty as the outside would suggest, it's still beautiful, especially the staircase. The staff are immensely helpful and if you're looking to research local history, this is the place to go.
