We visited today with our 2 and 5 year old, both absolutely loved it. Fantastic big tanks with sharks, turtles etc and plenty room for them to explore the whole place. Staff were very pleasant and helpful and we will certainly visit again.

We went to the NMA on a day when it was extremely windy and enjoyed the rexperience. Having said that, whilst appreciating it is a charity, we accepted the somewhat high entry fees - though liviung so far away from Plymouth we have no opportunity...More

We took our two small children here for the day, well afternoon. Yes there were some parts that were enjoyable - the large tanks and touching pool. But overall the café was cramped and not really very clean, left over food all over the floor...More

This is a real treasure and not expensive. I took five 9 and 10 year olds and had a fantastic day. One of the things that make it so special are the informative and interesting talks given by Marine Biology students and researchers from Plymouth...More

So as others have stated, it’s quiet expensive for what is essentially 3 tanks. 1st one is very small rock pool type tank, the second is kind of a therater style tank where the stage is the tank, and the third “show piece” is the...More

Biggest aquarium in the UK it says. We went around it in less than 30 minutes. Three big tanks but loads of pictures of fish. I appreciate the aquarium wants you to listen to the recordings and displays but we wanted to see different types...More

Thank you for writing this review. We are very sorry that you felt the experience was lacking. As a self-funded charity, we house over 4000 fish and a huge number of different species, including those which reside in the UK's deepest tank. We do recommend...More

The biggest tank in the UK and you get to walk under it and look up into it - only nothing tells you to look up. We sat waiting for a talk that was advertised on a wipe clean board for ten minutes and realised...More

Extremely interesting and educational for all ages. Wonderful variety of tanks giving different perspectives. However, despite explaining the issues of plastic in the sea and the effects on sealife the gift shop was selling lots of plastic toys that could easily have been replaced with...More
