Plymouth City Market is a place that seems to contain everything one needs. There is that vibrancy one always find within a market place.. Just a few of the outlets, Clothes, jewellery, fish merchants, butchers, fruit and vegetables, handicraft, newsagent, bakery, haberdashery, eating places suppling...More

ThevPlymouth city market really must be seen. Plenty to do and see with lots of places to stop off and have a coffee or even a meal.

It was a little late in the afternoon, but shops elsewhere were still open, sadly not many stalls in the market were. Lots of people wandering round, but just literally a handful of traders open. So I left.... I can never understand business owners who...More

I last visited when it was under refurbishment but now it finished and resplendent in all its 1950s glory. A great variety of stalls and especially good for cheap ( yet great) eating establishments. All sorts of ethnic foods and a really hipster vibe. A...More
